Private Individuals
Funding may be available to help you such as Local Councils, The Careers Advice Service, Regional Development Agencies, Job Centre Plus, Skills Funding Agency and Business Link can all provide advice on what is currently available; the funding may be restricted to the type of training or your own personal circumstances but it's worth a try.

UK registered companies and SMEs
Funding may also be available to help cover the costs for providing your staff  with training.  Government and European funding may be available see Train to Gain for further info.
Professional and Career Development Loans
These are bank loans to pay for courses and training that help with your career or help get you into work and can be between £300 and £10,000.

Loans are usually offered at reduced interest rates. You can order an application pack from the National Careers Advice Service but you need to apply 3 months before your training starts.

If you're claiming benefit, check with your benefits office before you take out a loan as it can affect the benefits you’re entitled to.
